Truth Alone Prevails!

One of the most important passages from the Vedic scriptures is found in the Mundaka Upanishad: satyam eva jayate – Truth Alone Prevails. According to the Mundaka Upanishad, God is that Truth. In this important livestream event, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya will be discussing this famous passage from the Mundaka Upanishad, as well as several other verses from this principle Upanishad that explain the relationship between God and Truth, and how you can know both.

“Truth alone prevails, not untruth. By truthfulness the path of bliss is opened up, the path which is taken by the sages, freed from cravings, and which leads them to truth’s eternal abode.” (Mundaka Upanishad, 3:1:6)

“Brahman is supreme; He is self-luminous, He is beyond all thought. Subtler than the subtlest is He, farther than the farthest, nearer than the nearest. He resides in the lotus of the heart of every being.” (Mundaka Upanishad, 3:1:7)

“The eyes do not see Him, speech cannot utter Him, the senses cannot reach Him. He is to be attained neither by austerity nor by sacrificial rites. When through discrimination the heart has become pure, then, in meditation, that Supreme Self is revealed.” (Mundaka Upanishad, 3:1:8)
